You are sitting in the car and hear that an organization has started a special campaign that you think is really good. When you get home and open the local newspaper, you read that the local association for poor children is offering a free summer camp.

There is so much good happening around you and often you only hear about it by accident. But if you hear about it, then there are ways that you can support. Even if you may not have time for active support, you can support passively with a one-time contribution or a passive membership.

So the Passionate Supporter Challenge is about you getting clear on who you want to support and then supporting them for at least a year. This doesn't have to be a particularly high amount, because that's not what it's about.

The point is that you stand up for your conviction, even if you do so passively. The result is the same, because you show what you stand for through your support.

For example, I support an association that takes in tortured bears and gives them a new home until the end of their lives. This costs me just 45,- EUR per year, but this money is an important part to support the work of the many active helpers there. So each association offers also a passive membership or also the possibility with a unique amount to support a certain project.
